Romano stared into the violet depths that were the Canadian's gentle eyes. Matthew had the most calming sense so that even now that he was confused and worried about what had happened with Gilbert, looking at him, Romano didn't feel the same.
Matthew gazed back, noticing the sweet, worried glaze that glistened in the Italian's hazel eyes. It wasn't something he'd seen before but he knew it was there.
"Do you like him back?"
The question rang repeatedly in the young blonde's head. Did he like him…? He knew he liked him, but that much? Maybe…but he'd never actually liked anyone before so how would he know this is what it was supposed to feel like?
"Mattie?"
Matthew looked up, seeing Lovino watching him and he realized he had drifted weakly so his head was leaning on the Italian's shoulder. He blushed and started to move but he felt arms wrap him in a hug and he stayed where he was.
"It's alright, you're tired…" He heard the foreign accent say unusually softly. He was surprised Romano wasn't shoving him off. Still, he took a deep breath and stayed leaning on his friend who kept his tan arm around his shoulders, trying to be comforting.
It was silent but somehow comforting and not awkward. At least not until Matthew's eyes shot open and he jerked up and Lovino looked up as the door slammed open.
"Where's Matthieu!" Francis cried, his crystal eyes searching the room though all they found was the little Italian.
"Lovi!" Antonito rushed in, wrapping the smaller male into a tight hug.
"Get off, bastard!" Came the loud reply, but no matter how much he kicked and yelled, the Spaniard wouldn't let go.
"Where's mon Matthieu!" The Frenchman questioned quickly, making Romano glare at him.
"He's right here, dumb ass!" He insulted but when he turned his head to point out the other, he noticed he was no longer sitting there beside him. "Wh-What the hell! Where'd he go!"
Antonio didn't seem to notice the shock though and grabbed the smaller man's shoulders."Lovi, please let me explain about the thing with Alfred! We're good friends, really! We just-"
"Where is he? Where's Matthieu?" Francis pleaded for an answer worriedly.
"Why? You want to punch him in the face too!" The Italian stuck him tongue out.
He was about to be cursed when suddenly Francis felt hands on his chest, pushing him out of the room. "Q-Que?" Suddenly he was shoved into the hallway, standing there against the opposite wall staring widely at nothing in front of him.
"Dehors!"Someone yelled, making Antonio and Lovino look up at the alarmed looking Francis.
"Hey!" The Spaniard gasped, being pulled to his feet.
"Wh-What the hell?" The Italian stuttered, watching the Spaniard stumbled backwards and out into the hallway with his friend.
"Get out! Out! Out!"
Then the door slammed, leaving Romano by himself.
Or at least he thought that. He could hear deep, exaggerated breathing coming from near the door so he watched it carefully, having crawled away so he was as far from it as possible. He couldn't believe his eyes when a light form came fuzzily into view until it morphed perfectly into the young Canadian, panting as he leaned against the door.
"Lovi, I don't want to talk to them." Came a familiar soft voice.

"Wh-What was that!" Antonio huffed, gathering himself, he stared at the closed door fearfully.
Francis did the same, but it was no longer a gaze of anxiety, but a glare. "It was mon cousin." He muttered, shoving his hands in his pockets, he started to walk away with a disgruntled, confused Antonio behind him.

"M-Mattie? That was you?" Lovino relaxed, slinking out of the corner and back onto the bed slowly.
The Canadian looked up at his friend with a bit of a sad smile before pushing himself off the door."Yeah…"
"What the hell! Can you transport or something!"
"No…I-I just…sometimes when I get really nervous I…I turn…invisible for a few minutes."
"Invisible…are you serious?"
Matthew smiled, sitting beside the Italian quietly. "Yeah, but so far, I can't control it. It's only happened a few times though."
"Like when?"Lovino was extra curious now. If people could use magic, fly, even turn invisible! He wondered why he was here! What could he do, he had to know!
"O-Oh…um…one time when these seniors tried to beat me up…one time I walked in on Alfred and Arthur-"
"What!"
"N-No! They weren't doing…that! They were just kinda…uh…making out. I'd never felt so embarrassed! I guess I just panicked. I could hear them talking after I had run away though and realized they hadn't seen me because I'd turned invisible. So, please don't tell him! He still doesn't know I'm the one that opened his door!"
"Don't worry about it, I don't want to tell him anyway." Romano said with a shake of his head.

"So, that's what happened, Gil. We'll talk to them later, mon ami. They still need time to calm down." Francis explained once he and Antonio were back at his room.
"So…they were cuddling when you walked in…" The albino muttered, staring at his hands.
"I-I wouldn't call that cuddling, mi amigo, I just…I think Matthew was just…they wouldn't…" The Spaniard told him, though the worry and disbelief in his own words burned in the air.
The Prussian grinned but his glare never left his eyes. "Why wouldn't they, Toni? What's stopping them? Just admit it, they're fallin' all over each other and it's only going to get worse."
"B-But, Gil, Lovi wouldn't…" Then again, the albino was right. Why wouldn't they fall for each other? The Spaniard grew silent and it stayed that way as the steely minutes passed.

The car pulled onto the side of the road into the dirt as the passenger stepped out and removed his luggage. He reached into the pocket of his brown suit trousers and handed the cabby the fare and a generous tip for the long ride. The car pulled away, more than eager to head back to the city. Germany gro
